Research Confirms That Prison Break Is Television’s Greatest Drama

August 16, 2006

And by research, I mean a focus group of me & the edge of my seat, which is where I will be sitting every Monday night at nine, starting next week.  So many amazing questions to be answered.  How will our heros escape Johnny Law, who appeared to be about four yards away from them and gaining at the close of last season?  Maybe they don’t!  Maybe they get RE-arrested and the second season involves breaking out of Prison all over again.  That would totally rock & I would watch every episode.  Also, what’s the deal with the doctor, Sara, did she really OD?  And Veronica, she’s trapped in that house in Montana with the Evil President’s toothless brother, where’s that going?  And as for you, T-Bag, Abruzzi may have chopped off your hand with an axe, but rest assured, your remaining hand is firmly wrapped around my beating heart.  T minus five days and counting…

  1. Isn’t the guy from the ill-fated series INvasion – http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001209/ going to be added to the cast. Which by the way he plays an excellent character in the movie “GO”.

  2. Yeah, Bill Fitchner. He’s a great “creepy” character actor. The best guy to come out of “Go”, it turns out, was Timothy Olyphant, who now plays the sherrif on Deadwood, the only show that may challenge Prison Break for top honors.

  3. My housemates and I too have confirmed this as well. We watched the first 13 episodes durring the break over one weekend. I think of this show as a long movie.
The only sad thing is I don’t think this show can continue after this season which on the other hand if this show continues for more than two seasons we’ll just have another LOST; interesting first season but should have ended in the second.

  4. tonight tonight!

    TONIGHT!

and you know maybe you’re on to something about them getting captured and having to escape again, because I read a description for next week’s episode and it says “Abruzzi, Sucre and C-Note run on their own; Michael and Lincoln plan another breakout.”

    WHAT COULD IT MEAN??!?!?

I’ll find out in just 5 short hours. thank god I live on the east coast.
